Brevard Zoo welcomes you to take part in its Volunteer Programs. As a community zoo, we encourage public involvement designed to aid the zoo in all aspects of operation. Since the zoo is a non-profit organization, we are dependent upon and very grateful to our volunteers, who help with everything from special events to educational programs. We know that working directly with animals is not everyone's goal, so we have tailored programs that we feel will offer something for everyone.

Employee Volunteer Opportunities
Brevard Zoo welcomes the opportunity to work with local businesses to plan an employee volunteer day. Whether it's landscaping, light maintenance, or cleaning storage units the volunteer experience is always more fun when it's done at the Zoo. VOLUNTEER SAFARI (Volunteer Informational Sessions)
After submitting an online application you will receive an email invitation to attend one VOLUNTEER SAFARI held on the following Saturdays in 2009, September 5, October 3, November 7, and December 5, from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. These Information Sessions are held in the Zoo Education Building. If attendance is not possible, please call the Office of Volunteer Programs at 321.254.9453 x 218 or send an email to mbowman@brevardzoo.org.
