Junk Mail

Did you know that each year millions of trees and billions of gallons of water are used to create junk mail, most of which never gets recycled? There are several things you can do to reduce how much junk mail you receive.

After using junk mail and any other paper you don't need to keep as scrap paper, recycle it.

Tips for a Great Visit

  • By entering the Zoo, you are consenting to being filmed, photographed, or videotaped for promotional purposes.

Length of Stay

We consider the Zoo to be a half-day experience. Plan for a minimum of one hour to see all of the exhibits and at least an hour to experience our new Paws On children's play area. Then based on activities and animal demonstrations, you may find you stay for up to four hours.

Inclement Weather

Brevard Zoo is open rain or shine and the majority of the Zoo experience is outdoors. For your safety, certain activities may need to close during severe weather and some animals will go off exhibit. Activities will re-open as soon as possible. Refunds and rain checks are not offered for inclement weather.

Lost and Found

Items lost in the park may be identified and claimed at the main office located at the main entrance. Brevard Zoo is not responsible for personal property left by patrons in the park. Neither Brevard Zoo nor its employees assume responsibility for the loss of, or damage to, personal property.

Lost Children

We encourage you to establish a meeting place in case your group becomes separated. Instruct children to contact the nearest Brevard Zoo employee for assistance.
